FM Insurance Company Limited’s (FMI) scheme under Division 3A Part III of the Insurance Act 1973

FMI has made an application to the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney for orders confirming a scheme under Division 3A of Part III of the Insurance Act 1973 to transfer its Australian general insurance business to Factory Mutual Insurance Company (FMIC). This represents the conclusion of arrangements to transition FMI’s business to FMIC that commenced on 1st October 2014. The following documents are available here:
