Fitch Ratings affirms FM’s insurer financial strength ratings at ‘AA’ (Very Strong)

Johnston, Rhode Island, USA, 24 November 2025 – Fitch Ratings, one of the world’s leading ratings agencies, affirmed commercial property insurer FM’s Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) ratings at ‘AA’ (Very Strong) with its rating outlook as ‘stable’.

In its announcement, Fitch said the affirmation ‘reflects FM's long-term underwriting profitability, very strong capitalisation and competitive advantages from its engineering expertise and global presence in specialty commercial property insurance’. Fitch added: ‘FM maintains a strong franchise in the commercial property market for highly protected risks’.
