FM Named Principal Partner of WTGL’s Boston Common Golf Team
Agreement expands FM’s commitment to professional golf and women’s sports through new LPGA-backed league
JOHNSTON, R.I., USA, Aug. 31, 2026 – Commercial property insurer FM today announced it will serve as principal partner of the Boston Common Golf team in WTGL, a new women’s professional golf league created by TMRW Sports and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
WTGL’s inaugural season tees off this fall at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with a fast-paced team match-play format featuring some of the LPGA Tour’s top players. Boston Common Golf is one of five teams set to compete in the WTGL league.
Boston Common Golf also unveiled its roster today, bringing together five LPGA Tour players from around the world: FM ambassadors Megan Khang, a Massachusetts native, and Lottie Woad of England, along with Céline Boutier of France, Chizzy Iwai of Japan and Ina Yoon of the Republic of Korea.
“We are proud to deepen our commitment to Boston Common Golf and to the continued growth of women’s sports through this new partnership,” said Alison Erbig, executive vice president, chief financial officer of FM. “WTGL combines world-class LPGA Tour talent, an innovative competition format and a powerful new platform to bring women’s golf to even more fans. We are especially excited to expand our relationships with FM ambassadors Megan Khang and Lottie Woad while supporting this exceptional team of athletes as they represent Boston and New England on a new stage.”
“FM has been an exceptional partner to Boston Common Golf since our earliest days. Their commitment, collaboration and belief in our team have been instrumental in helping us build the Boston Common Golf brand and deepen our connection with fans,” said Mark Lev, president and CEO of Boston Common Golf. “We are thrilled to expand this relationship into women’s professional golf at such a pivotal moment for the sport. Their commitment to golf and innovation makes them an ideal partner as we showcase the exceptional talent and personalities of the world’s best women golfers and engage new fans.”
The partnership builds on FM’s role as principal partner of the TGL men’s Boston Common Golf team. TGL presented by SoFi launched in 2025 and now includes seven teams.
WTGL and TGL blend advanced technology and live competition. Players drive from a grass platform into a massive screen, where shots are tracked on custom-designed virtual holes. As teams approach the green, players shift to a physical putting surface that rotates and changes shape from hole to hole.
